Leah Halpenny Leah Halpenny is the Vice President, Finance and Administration at Executive Risk Insurance Services. Leah is responsible for managing all accounting, reporting and other finance functions of Executive Risk Services with a strong controllership mindset. She also has primary responsibility for the company’s infrastructure, and office administration requirements, and plays a key role in the HR and corporate risk management functions. Prior to Executive Risk Insurance Services, Leah was with Mercer Human Resource Consulting, where she was Director of Finance overseeing the Financial Reporting and Business Process Improvements for its two largest businesses, Health & Benefits Consulting and Retirement Consulting. In addition, Leah was responsible for creating the Centralized Processing unit, a unit designed to process all core accounting transactions for all offices across Canada. Before joining Mercer Human Resource Consulting, she was the Director of Finance and Administration at Korn/Ferry International/Pratzer & Partners Inc., responsible for offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Toronto, New York and Chicago. Leah was responsible for the integration of the newly purchased Calgary, Montreal and Toronto offices into the Korn/Ferry technology, financial and human resource systems. Leah has also held various Finance roles with Smith Lyons, Miller Thomson and Goodman’s. Leah is a Certified Management Accountant, who graduated from University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts, Honours Business Administration. |
