AI Risk Advisory · GTM Strategy · Executive Risk Coverage
Your company is using AI to grow. Do you know what risk that creates?
I advise insurance and insurtech executives at the intersection of AI, go-to-market strategy, and risk management — then place the coverage that protects them when AI doesn’t go as planned.
The gap nobody’s talking about.
AI is reshaping how insurance companies market, sell, and distribute. Content generated by AI. Broker communications automated by AI. Targeting decisions made by AI. Campaigns launched and optimized by AI.
Most executives know this is changing how they grow. Fewer realize it’s also changing what they’re liable for.
When AI generates a compliance violation in a broker email, who’s responsible? When an AI targeting model discriminates — even unintentionally — who gets sued? When an AI-powered sales tool makes a representation your E&O policy doesn’t cover, what happens next?
These aren’t hypothetical questions. They’re the questions regulators, plaintiffs’ attorneys, and your board are starting to ask right now.
I built Execurisk because nobody was answering them — at least not from the inside of the industry where they actually originate.
Three things. One practice. No other firm does all of them.
AI GTM Strategy
I help insurance and insurtech companies build and deploy AI in their go-to-market and marketing functions — intelligently. Tool selection, workflow design, broker communication frameworks, content strategy, and channel execution. Not generic AI strategy. Strategy built by someone who has spent 15 years inside insurance distribution and understands how this industry actually buys, sells, and communicates.
AI Risk Assessment
Before you deploy AI in your marketing function — or after you already have — I assess the risk you’re creating. I map every AI touchpoint in your GTM motion, identify where your liability exposure lives, flag regulatory risk, and deliver a written assessment with clear recommendations. Think of it as a risk audit for your go-to-market function in an AI-driven world.
Executive Risk Coverage Placement
Once I know what risks you’re carrying, I place the coverage that protects against them. E&O for AI-generated content. Cyber coverage for data used in AI targeting. Tech liability for AI tools that create third-party exposure. D&O for executives making strategic decisions based on AI outputs. I work exclusively in executive and professional risk lines — the coverage types that matter most when AI-related liability surfaces.
Most advisors can do one of these. Some can do two. Execurisk is the only practice that does all three — because the strategy, the risk, and the coverage are not separate problems. They’re the same problem, seen from different angles.
Why this, why now, why me.
The AI risk advisory market is full of consultants who understand technology but have never placed a risk, and brokers who can write a policy but have never built a go-to-market strategy. I sit at a different intersection — and I built Execurisk because that intersection didn’t have a home.
I’m Liz Deranja. I’ve spent 15 years inside insurance and insurtech marketing — building broker distribution channels from zero, driving 17x platform growth, and advising AI-driven carriers, MGAs, and insurtechs on how to take complex products to market. I hold the AIRMPC certification (AI Risk Manager Professional), an active California P&C Producer license, and the MLIS designation (Management Liability Insurance Specialist).
That combination — deep GTM execution experience, AI risk credentials, and the legal authority to place executive risk coverage — doesn’t exist anywhere else in a single practice.
Execurisk is my practice. When you work with Execurisk, you work with me — directly, from day one. No account managers. No handoffs. No junior associates learning on your time. Just a senior advisor who has been inside companies like yours, watching these risks form in real time.
For engagements that require specialized legal, regulatory, or technical depth beyond my own, I draw on a curated network of attorneys, licensed insurance professionals, and subject matter experts who share my commitment to precision and discretion. You get the right expertise for the problem — assembled deliberately, not generically.

I work with a specific kind of company.
Insurtech Companies
You’re building AI-native products for the insurance market. Your marketing team is using AI tools to reach brokers, generate content, and automate distribution. You need someone who understands your product, your channel, and the liability exposure your AI deployment is creating — and can protect you against it. That’s exactly the work I do.
Carriers & MGAs Adopting AI
You’re adding AI to an existing marketing and distribution function. New tools, new workflows, new risks your current coverage may not address. You need an advisor who can assess what you’re building before it creates a problem your legal team has to solve. I’ve been inside companies making exactly this transition.
Tech Companies Entering Insurance
You’re building AI products for the insurance market and need to market them to carriers, MGAs, and brokers. You face real E&O exposure from the claims you make about your technology. I can help you communicate what your product does accurately — and insure the gap between what it promises and what it delivers.
Not sure where your AI risk exposure actually lives?
That’s usually the first question. Start with a 20-minute call. I’ll tell you honestly whether I’m the right fit — and if I’m not, I’ll point you to someone who is.
No pitch. No pressure. Just a conversation between people who speak the same language.
